STRAW CLASP TROUSERS

A runway piece from EAFTIMOS A/W 26 — worn before it was ever worn.

The front is cut in cotton twill and faded by hand to the colour of a garment left out through a full season of work in the field: yellow gone dull, soiled at the creases, bleached where the sun hit hardest. The back panel and side seams run in light denim.

Darts at the hip and at the knee pull the leg into an arc, so the trouser holds its curve even hanging still. The fly closes under a placket. At the waist, three straps fasten with the magnetic metal clasp that runs through the whole collection.

The wash is applied by hand, so no two pairs fade the same way.

Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle. Wash separately the first few times. No bleach, no tumble dry. Hang to dry away from direct sun.
